When you order more than 5 pouches, we've got an eco-friendly solution in place Your order will be securely packed in a white printed bag, with all the pouches neatly tucked inside.

To open, cut and tug on the string on the top edge to break the seal or use a pair of scissors to cut along the same line. But don't be too hasty to discard it!

This bag is designed for reuse and could serve a myriad of other purposes in your home. So go ahead, let your imagination run wild and give this bag a new lease on life. It's our little way of reducing waste and making a difference.

Alternatively, you can stack these bags on the side and when you've gathered 10 or more, send them back to us.

Product Knowledge

What is the difference between Simple, Essential, and Prime?

Simple is our most affordable series of food.

Essential series is made for those dogs who are okay with eating a range of ingredients. While the price is higher than Simple Series, it is compensated by higher protein levels, lower carbohydrates levels, and also the provision of grain-free options.  

Prime is our most premium range of meals packed with explosive flavour of novel proteins and high meat portions.

How much should I feed my dog?

One of the best options is to reach out to us via e-mail (hello@perfekt.pet) or WhatsApp support. 

As of 23 Jan, product pages are being updated with feeding charts for easy access.

Packaging and Shipping

Where all do you ship your products to?

With our easy-to-use checkout process, you can select either IndiaPost or DTDC for shipping your orders to any location in India.

How do I know if the food is safe by the time it arrives my location?

When it comes to food freshness, our pouches have an easy test - they bloat up in case of damage or expiry. Contact us within 24 hours for assistance.

What delivery support do you provide?

As with any other company, once we hand over the parcel to the shipper we have barely any control on the movement of the parcel. We will do our best effort to get it to you as soon as possible.

However, sometimes the shipment may take longer than usual to reach our customers due to reasons such as (but not limited to) bad weather, flight delays, political disruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances. However, in case of any such delay, our customer support will be in touch with you proactively. Customers are requested to bear with us as these situations are beyond our control.

Where can I find tracking information?

Tracking information is shared once the parcel is handed over to the shipper. You would receive an automated message with a link for the same.

How flexible are the deliveries?

We finalise the parcels for the day by 9 AM on working days and hand over the same to the shipper at the time of pick up.

Once the pick up complete, there is no option to cancel the order and/or take a return.

IndiaPost collects the parcels but begins the processing only post mid-night. All timelines mentioned in FAQs on WhatsApp and on our website are timelines from handing over the shipment to the shipper.

As per the shipper they attempt a maximum of three times for failed deliveries.

Why are you using IndiaPost?

After careful consideration of multiple variables we have decided to have IndiaPost as our default shipper. This helps us keep the price of our food affordable especially for large orders.

If you are unsure if this is not the right choice for you or if you want faster shipping, please choose DTDC at the time of checkout.

I want fast shipping. Can you help?

Everyone has different shipping requirements. Although we generally send via IndiaPost, you can choose DTDC as the shipping method at the time of checkout for a faster delivery (as completed by DTDC) for a small premium.

How long does IndiaPost take to deliver my order?

The following are the general guidelines for delivery timelines as prescribed by IndiaPost:

Hyderabad: 1-3 days
Hyderabad - Metro: 4-5 days
Hyderabad to State Capital: 4-6 days
Telangana: 3-6 days
Rest of the country: 6-9 days
J&K and NE: 8-12 days
(Days do not include Sundays and other public holidays)

Our cut-off for receiving and packing the order is 9 AM everyday.

How long does DTDC take to delivery my order?

The following are the general guidelines for delivery as prescribed by DTDC:

Hyderabad: 1 day
AP and TS: 2 days
Neighbouring States to TS: 3 days
Metro Cities: 3-5 days
Rest of India: 4-8 days
J&K, NE, Andamans: 10-14 days
(Days do not include Sundays and other public holidays)

My order is still not delivered. What should I do?

We're very sorry to hear that. As a general guideline IndiaPost takes 4-14 days for delivery while DTDC takes 2-7 days for delivery.

The count starts from the day we handover the parcel to the shipper. This is so because sometimes (whether scheduled or otherwise) it is not possible to hand over the parcel to the shipped due to either scheduled non-working days or some other unforeseen event.

We recommend that you scroll just a little bit up to see the state level guidelines.

You could also mail to us at hello@perfekt.pet and we will look into the same and escalate if any issue.

There is some issue with my order and I've already e-mail your team. What next?

As with any other company we are reliant on courier services provided by third party companies.

Although we may do everything right on our end sometimes things to get misplaced or mis-delivered or delayed due to reasons beyond our control.

Once you send us a mail, we generally escalate the issue to the shipper if the situation warrants it.

These are substantially large companies and it takes them also time to trace an error. We're sure everyone has used a courier service at some point in their lives and understands how it works.

IndiaPost and DTDC both take about 2-4 days to give a resolution and 95% of the cases get resolved in this period.

In the worst case scenario that a delivery is taking longer than 10 days the maximum time as mentioned in the checkout for your chosen delivery method then we will refund the order in full and take the responsibility.

However, please do note that our team reads all the e-mails and does their best to resolve them at the earliest. In fact it only makes sense for us to deliver as fast as possible since that also means that people might place their next order sooner.

Please bear with us while we sort out the issues raised by concern pet parents such as yourselves.

Storage and Handling

How long can I store the pouches?

The date of manufacturing is printed on the pouch face.

The best use is one year from date of manufacturing.

Expiry is two years from date of manufacturing.

I am not going the use a full pouch. What do I do?

If you open a pouch, then your dog ideally have 24 hours to complete the food when refrigerated.

However, you can extend the shelf-life by storing the same in a freezer and thawing when required.

What are the preparation instructions?

Nothing at all. Just empty the contents into the food bowls as per the feeding guide-lines and you are good to go.

Do I need to consult my vet before swithcing to Perfekt?

Although we work very closely with veterinarians, nutritionists, packaging experts, you are more than welcomed to consult your veterinarian regarding the best course for your dog.

Payment Options

How do I pay online?

Time to time depending on performance and our internal contracts, we provide relavant online checkout options for you to pay via credit card, debit card, UPI, etc.

Do you have COD?

About 40% of the orders in India are returned thus causing brands to increase the price of their products by 20-30%. We avoid this by providing COD for orders only above Rs. 1,499/- and that too with a non-refundable advance of 20%. Reach out to us on WhatsApp for the same.

As of now we do not provide any COD for trial packs as this is a very costly affair in terms of administration and shipping partner add-on charges.

I'm sure you will appreciate the affordability and no-frills built into our prices.

I am not sure about paying on your website. Can I send it directly?

Yes, absolutely. You can pay to our account directly via the following options:

  • UPI - perfekt.pet@kotak
  • UPI - perfekt.pet@axl

Please be assured that our store is built on the shoulders of Shopify. This means that we do not handle your payment. We do not receive your account details. The payment provider only gives us a confirmation that your money has been received by them and that we can process the order.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an order?

We are unable to accept any returns once the order is delivered due to food safety standards.

My order is late. Can I get a refund?

Shipping charges are refunded only if the completion of delivery is taking longer than 10 working days post the shipping timelines guide as on WhatsApp/or our Website or if there is failure in delivery based on information from the shipper.

Please note that we are not the shipping company. We only use the services of such companies to get the product to you.

However, we are unable to refund any money for failure or delay of delivery due to wrong or incomplete address as informed by the shipper.
